Shobie Malani has been in the event industry for over 18 years, having founded her own Company straight after graduating and obtaining her LL.B (Hons) in Law. Legal practice was not her calling and she ventured into the Yoga industry having obtained her Teachers Training Certs in Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga and specializing in Kids Yoga. In 2014, Shobie saw the need to incorporate Mind, Body, Wellness into the Malaysian eco-system and thus the birth of MURFEST, now helmed as Asia’s Premier Lifestyle Festival was born. Now in its 7th year, MURFEST is the epitome of Brand association with anything to do with fitness, health, wellness and lifestyle industry players. Seeing that there was a gap in appreciating or acknowledging these industry players and experts, Shobie with collaborating partners conceived the idea of ABWA (Asia Beauty & Wellness Awards)-the first of its kind in this region combining the 4 pillars -Beauty, Fitness, Wellness & Lifestyle. She is also a Certified Trainer and is very passionate about promoting Mental Awareness in the workforce, schools and to families.

Her PhD research on obesity was chosen for its impact on obesity in Asia and was accepted and presented at the President’s Cup Award, American College of Sports Medicine Northwest Annual Meeting in Tacoma, Washington. Ambassadors to brands like Reebok, Norwegian Seafood Council, this Golden Key Honour Society Scholar and TEDX Speaker has several signature community fitness programmes to her name, Fat2Fit Asia and Walking Football4Health Asia. This media darling conducts synergy on community and corporate health and research collaborations internationally.

co-founded Pinkathon, which is now Asia’s Largest Run for Women
featuring over 1 Lakh women runners every year. She is also a

scenario in India.
Reema has also been elected as the Vice President - West for Event
and Experiential Marketing Association (EEMA), the leading platform

After studying law Nel McComb worked in the fashion industry inspired from her modelling experience in Australia. Growing up she has always been active in supporting others. Life as an expat has allowed her to give more to community through collaborations, social enterprise and sponsorships. Throughout her life she has always been involved with health and wellness believing that working on self far exceeds the necessity to change others. She has studied many modalities of healing and personal development and believes in changing mindsets through empowerment of communities and children.
